Description
Having only had six owners from new since April 1969, this Massey Ferguson 135 is powered by a Perkins 2.5-litre 3-cylinder diesel engine with only 110 hours use since it was fully re-built. Coupled to this is an 8-speed (six forward and two reverse) gearbox and mechanical clutch.
The exterior panels are flawlessly presented in the traditional Massey Ferguson red with silver detailing and provide a clear indication of the care and attention that has been taken during the restoration.
Both the front and rear wheels are finished in silver and in immaculate condition, and the tyres are in as new condition as would be expected with such limited use.
The single driver’s seat has been refurbished in grey leather with red piping and shows only very light signs of wear.
The last service was conducted in February 2024 which included draining the fuel tank and fitting new fuel filters. The engine, suspension components and underbody of this 135 are equally as pristine as the rest of this tractor. The vendor reports there are no mechanical or electrical faults, and all dials and associated elements are fully operational. It starts first time without hesitation and runs perfectly.
Although it is fully capable of completing everyday farm chores, it’s very rare to find a Massey Ferguson 135 that’s been restored to such a pristine level as this one. It stands ready to be enjoyed on a crisp winter’s day or saved for summer agricultural shows or displays where its showroom condition will always provide a main attraction – a true collectable classic.
