Exploring the exterior, the bodywork is in very good condition overall. As to be expected from a vehicle of this age there are some light blemishes on the bumper corners and occasional small dent from general day-to-day use. The white paintwork is otherwise presented very well.
The outside of this VW is completed with 18-inch black alloy wheels with all four tyres retain a significant amount of tread. The exterior is completed with a bike rack on the boot lid and a roof rack.
Moving inside, the grey fabric front seats remain in good condition having benefited from seat covers being used. The dash, door cards and carpets are also very well presented. All the surrounding controls including air conditioning are in perfect working order, with just the passenger side central locking occasionally being intermittent.
The rear passenger area can be accessed from sliding doors on both sides. Once inside, there are 2 chairs directly behind the front seats, with an additional third seat included in the sale providing capacity for 6 passengers.
As well as the bench seat, this Transporter provides a smart and generous sleeping configuration with mattress cushions. It’s also fitted with a fully operational pop-out kitchen unit which is neatly stowed in the boot. The top of the unit is fitted with a sink and two gas hobs; with a water tank and gas fully plumbed in. There is also a shower hose and side table providing everything needed for camping trips.
This VW runs and drives very well. It’s been routinely maintained and most recently had a full service in (month) in preparation for sale including engine oil and filter change. The vendor confirms there are no mechanical or electrical issues.
