First registered in May 2001 and a Jersey car from new, this 986-era Porsche Boxster S has covered 67,671 miles.
The car’s bodywork is finished in black metallic paint, which is in good overall condition. As you would expect from a car of this age, there are some blemishes, including a light scuff on the front bumper and a mark on the driver’s side rear bumper corner – please see photo gallery.
Currently fitted with a hardtop, the fully operational black fabric hood was recently replaced and is in excellent condition. The vendor also opted for a heated rear screen rather than the standard clear plastic version.
Completing the exterior are 17-inch silver alloy wheels with a red bead on the outer edge. They are all in very good condition, with no curbing; all four tyres also retain a decent amount of tread. The sale of this Boxster S also includes a matching second set of wheels finished in black.
Moving inside, the black leather shows some expected age-related wear, including small tears on the driver’s side bolster. The remainder of the cabin is in very good order.
The Boxster is powered by a 3.2-litre flat-six engine, producing around 250 bhp as standard, delivered to the rear wheels. It is also fitted with the desirable six-speed manual gearbox, offering a more engaging driving experience than the Tiptronic alternative.
With a solid service record during the current owner’s tenure, the last full service was completed in November 2024, and the vendor reports no known electrical or mechanical faults.
