Description
The exterior of this 1985 VW Golf is presented in very good overall condition having been previously refurbished. The traditional bronze metallic paintwork of the 1980’s era is presented very well. There are a couple of small signs of paint blemishes as shown in the photo gallery, however nothing of significance. It’s also been fitted with 17-inch BBS split rims which perfectly enhance the exterior appearance.
The black fabric hood is presented very well and can be quickly and easily retracted providing the full open-air experience.
Exploring the interior, the beige fabric seats are in excellent condition both on the front and rear. The mustard and brown colour theme across the door cards, carpets and matching leather dash are also presented equally well.
Under the bonnet is a 1.6 litre petrol engine which is coupled to a five-speed manual gearbox. This Golf runs perfectly, and the vendor confirms there are no known mechanical or electrical issues.
This 1985 VW Golf Convertible is a beautiful example of the open-top icon. Presented in very good overall condition, it stands as a stylish retro weekend cruiser or on a summers evening.
