Description

The Jeep Wrangler is one of the world’s most recognisable and characterful 4x4s, combining rugged simplicity with genuine open-top driving enjoyment. This 1990 example is an original left-hand-drive US import, powered by the dependable 2.5-litre petrol engine and having covered approximately 82,000 miles.

Presented without a roof, this Wrangler delivers a true back-to-basics driving experience and is perfectly suited to summer use and weekend cruising.  Its short-wheelbase design, oversized wheels and tyres, and fitted roll hoop all add to its unmistakable presence and classic Jeep appeal.

Finished in black, the Jeep has previously been resprayed, although the finish is best described as usable rather than show standard, with areas where the previous colour can still be seen through in places. Importantly, this suits the honest and rugged nature of the vehicle well and adds to its character rather than detracting from it.

Inside, the cabin presents as used but functional, entirely in keeping with the vehicle’s age and purpose. The rear benefits from a practical bench seat arrangement, while the interior overall retains the simple and durable feel expected of an early Wrangler.

Mechanically, the vehicle runs and drives well as reported by the owner, with no known issues. It remains a straightforward and dependable example of the classic Wrangler platform, ideal for relaxed use rather than heavy restoration or show purposes.

This is not a concours or collector-grade example, nor does it pretend to be. Instead, it offers an honest, usable, and hugely enjoyable classic Jeep experience that can be driven and enjoyed exactly as intended.
