Description
The Ian Callum and Keith Helfet-designed Aston Martin DB7 was released in September 1994 following its appearance in concept form at the 1993 Geneva Motor Show. The V12 Vantage made its debut in 1999 and was produced until 2004. This example was first registered in May 2001 in the UK and came across to Jersey in April 2011 where it has been under the same ownership ever since.
At the heart of this DB7 Vantage is 5.9-litre V12 engine which produces around 420bhp, it delivers drive to the rear wheels via a 5-speed automatic gearbox. It’s covered 46,373 miles from new.
The exterior is presented in excellent overall condition. There are some small signs of bubbling in paintwork under the swage line on the drivers rear wing – shown in the gallery, the bodywork is otherwise presented incredibly well particularly when considering this DB7 is approaching 25 years old. The 18-inch silver alloy wheels are in very good condition with some small scuff marks on the passenger side. All four Pirelli tyres retain a decent amount of tread.
Stepping inside the cabin, the fully electric seats are upholstered in cream leather with blue piping. As to be expected, there is some expected age-related wear on the driver’s seat, the passenger seat and two rear seats are in excellent condition. The door card, dashboard, carpets and roof-lining which has been refurbished continue this theme.
Mechanically, this DB7 has been very well maintained with Aston Martin specialists used throughout ownership in both the UK and in Jersey. The last full service was completed in September 2023 with less than 200 miles completed since.
This Aston Martin DB7 V12 Vantage is a sophisticated example of one of the marque’s most recognisable modern classic coupes.  Presented in excellent overall condition and with a very well documented service history, it stands ready for the next owner to enjoy!
