Description
The Continental GT was first revealed at the 2002 Paris Motor Show and marked the first new Bentley released following the company’s acquisition by Volkswagen in 1998. It offered a perfect blend of performance, comfort, and style.
First registered in June 2004, this Continental GT has covered 54,315 miles from new.
The bodywork remains in excellent condition, and the original Moonbeam Silver metallic paintwork presents very well, with only a few minor blemishes consistent with general use. Its exterior features include the distinctive Bentley grille and quad headlights. The 19-inch five-spoke wheels are all in good condition, with only minor kerb marks.
Inside, the cream leather upholstery is in very good condition overall. The heated front seats show only light, age-related creasing, as expected. The wood veneer door panels and dashboard are beautifully finished and, along with the carpets, remain in very good order. The rear seats are also presented in excellent condition.
Under the bonnet is Bentley’s incredibly powerful twin-turbocharged 6.0-litre W12 engine, producing 552 bhp and 479 lb-ft of torque—enough to propel the GT from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.6 seconds. Power is delivered to all four wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission and Bentley’s permanent all-wheel-drive system.
This Bentley has nine service stamps in the service book, with the most recent full service completed in November 2024. According to the vendor, the only known fault is a faulty tyre pressure sensor. The sale includes both a Bentley trickle charger and the four-digit registration number J5059.
This Bentley Continental GT is a luxurious and contemporary grand tourer, presented in excellent condition. With its immense W12 engine, impressive road presence, and elegant interior, it makes for a refined and capable long-distance cruiser or weekend companion for any enthusiast.
