The CT35S was one of two models used to relaunch the Clews Competition Machines (CCM) brand after it was repurchased by its founder, Alan Clews, in 2005.
As a small British manufacturer based in Bolton, CCM has always aspired to deliver a higher level of craftsmanship and attention to detail—and the CT35S is no exception. With only 120 units approved for production, this excellent example is number 59. The sale includes the original owners handbook and brochure.
It’s powered by a clean 398cc Suzuki single-cylinder engine that produces approximately 45 bhp and delivers a distinctive sound through its stainless-steel exhaust system which carries a small scuff mark. This bike has covered just 6,074 miles from new.
The bold styling adds to the bike’s unique character. The aluminium fuel tank, featuring the CCM logo on either side, is in very good condition and serves as the main visual focal point. The black rear panels are equally well presented. The black leather seat shows no signs of wear.
Instrumentation is provided by an Acumen digital dash, which also houses the limited-edition number plate at the bottom and features Alan Clews’ engraved signature across the top. All electrical components are in perfect working order.
Excellent mechanical condition has been consistently maintained, and despite limited use, the bike is ready to go at the push of a button. It rides on 17-inch wheels—black at the rear and rose gold at the front. Both tyres retain a decent amount of tread, although the front tyre would benefit from replacement due to age.
This CT35S is a fantastic example of a very limited-edition, flat track–inspired bike. Presented in very good overall condition, it represents an opportunity to own one of CCM’s original retro models—celebrated by enthusiasts for the pure riding enjoyment it delivers.
