Having only had 1 owner from new in September 2006, this limited production Mini Cooper S JCW has covered an incredibly low 7,437 miles. The production of first generation JCW Mini’s were limited to 2,000 examples of which 437 supplied to the UK market, this is no.254 which combined with its mileage makes it a very rare hot hatch.
Under the bonnet is 1.6-litre supercharged inline-four engine, which sends 215-bhp to the front wheels via 6-speed manual gearbox and a limited-slip differential. This combination allows the JCW to shift from 0-60 in an impressive 6.5 seconds.
Exploring the exterior of the car, the Thunder Grey metallic paintwork presents in excellent condition. The silver roof features the build number GP0254. The 18-inch JCW alloy wheels which sit in front red detailed brake callipers continue the same theme. The Dunlop tyres all retain a significant amount of tread.
Moving inside, and as expected with such low mileage, the interior is presented like new. The black leather Recaro seats feature red-stitching and are in excellent condition. The door cards, carpets and dashboard which features dark metallic grey instrument dials and multi-function steering wheel are presented equally well. As with all JCW cars, the rear seats were removed in favour of a substantial brace bar and providing the benefit of stripping approximate 50kg in weight.
Mechanically this example has been thoroughly maintained, with regular servicing regardless of mileage covered. All of which is documented in a file along with the original invoice for the car, owner’s manual and JCW certificate. It stands in perfect working order.
