First registered in February 2014, this beautiful grand tourer Mercedes SL400 AMG Line has been a local Jersey car from new and has covered just 13,124 miles. Powered by a 3.0 litre twin-turbocharged V6, which delivers 329bhp and 354lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a seven-speed automatic gearbox with paddle shift.
The bodywork is in excellent overall condition. The grey metallic paintwork follows this theme, with no significant blemishes of note. The silver 19-inch AMG alloy wheels have some signs of oxidation but are otherwise presented well. The original Pirelli tyres still retain a decent amount of tread due to the low mileage, however, would likely benefit from being replaced.
Moving inside, the fully electric, memory cream leather seats with contrasting black piping are both in excellent condition as to be expected with such low mileage. The factory fitted equipment includes heated seats, parking assistance, satellite navigation and phone connectivity.
The electric folding roof is in perfect working order and promptly stows away into the boot to allow for a full open-air experience. This SL400 also has Airscarf functionality which allows you to have the roof down even in colder conditions whilst keeping nice and warm inside.
The last service was completed in February 2024 with limited miles covered since. The vendor reports there are no electrical or mechanical faults with the vehicle.
The R231-generation Mercedes SL400 is a highly desirable grand tourer thanks to its elegant styling, comfortable cabin, and a performance twin-turbocharged V6 engine.
