The exterior of the car is presented in Mauritius blue, which not only looks fantastic, but is also in excellent condition with no marks or blemishes of note – an indication of the care and attention this car has received during its ownership. The 16-inch silver alloy wheels continue the same theme and are in great condition with no scuffs or curbing, all four wheels were fitted with new tyres in 2022.
Moving inside, the heated front seats are covered in a grey leather and alcantara which only shows very light age-related signs of wear on the drivers’ sides. The remaining seats, carpets, door cards and dashboard are all presented excellently. The spacious boot also features a neat rubber lining which is like new.
Under the bonnet is the 1.8 litre four-cylinder 20-valve turbocharged engine which provides 180 bhp; this is coupled to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
This car has an impeccable service history and drives and runs perfectly. The last service completed in 2022 included a new timing belt along with engine oil and filter change. The vendor reports there are no mechanical faults with the car and no warning lights displayed on the dashboard.
Presented in fantastic condition both inside and out, this first-generation Audi TT coupe remains a stylish and very usable sports car. Boasting a full-service history, it’s a fun and affordable modern classic ready to be enjoyed.
