Description
The Continental GT was first revealed at the 2002 Paris Motor Show and was the first new Bentley released after the company’s acquisition by Volkswagen in 1998. It delivered the perfect blend of performance, comfort and style.
First registered in March 2009, this Continental GT has covered 43,031 miles from new.
The bodywork is all in excellent shape, and the condition of the original Moonbeam Silver paintwork continues this theme with no blemishes of note. The exterior appearance includes the distinctive grille, quad headlights, and speed-activated rear spoiler. The 20-inch seven-spoke wheels are all in good condition, with only minor kerb damage.
Moving inside, the black leather upholstery is in very good condition overall, and the seats present well with just some very light and expected age-related creasing. The door panels, dash and carpets are in very good order. The luxurious cabin is equipped with satellite navigation, heated seats and heated steering wheel, as well as a mobile telephone and iPod interface for the infotainment system; no electrical faults have been detected.
Under the bonnet is the incredibly powerful twin-turbocharged 6.0 litre W12 engine. It delivers 552bhp and 479 lb/ft of torque which is enough to propel the GT from 0-60mph in 4.6 seconds. The permanent four-wheel drive transmits power to the road via a six-speed automatic gearbox.
The last full Bentley approved service was completed in October 2021 which included new discs, pads and front tyres.
This Bentley Continental GT is a luxurious and contemporary grand tourer, presented in great condition. With the immense W12 engine, impressive road presence and elegant cabin, it’s the perfect refined long-distance or weekend cruiser for any enthusiast.
