The black metallic exterior is for the most part in very good condition; there is scuff mark on the driver’s side rear wing and a small crease on the corner of the rear bumper as per the photo gallery, however the remaining bodywork is presented well. The 16-inch silver alloy wheels are all in very good condition with no curbing, all four tyres retain a significant amount of tread.
Inside the car, the black fabric which covers both the front and rear seats is in excellent condition with no signs of significant wear. The rear seats offer iso-fix anchor points on both sides. The dashboard and remaining trim including the interior door cards are all presented very well. This model also offers front and rear parking sensors and electric mirrors.
The combination of a 2.0 litre petrol engine, manual 6-speed gearbox and rear-wheel driver make this 1 series a rewarding car to drive. There are no warning lights displayed on the dashboard and no reported faults. It’s had a new battery fitted in January of this year and the coil pack has also been previously replaced, however it is now due its next service.
A great car to drive and delivering the build quality and reliability you expect from BMW, this 120i continues to deliver as a premium hatchback and is offered in very good condition overall.
