The Kawasaki ZZR1400 was the king of speed and power when it was launched in 2012, beating the formidable Suzuki Hayabusa with more power, torque and acceleration. The Performance Sport model then raised the bar even higher with its intoxicating blend of engineering, style and performance.
First registered in May 2014, this ZZR1400 Performance Sport has been incredibly well cared for and maintained to a very high standard. It’s covered 12,113 miles from new.
At the heart of this bike is it’s impressive 1441cc engine. Kawasaki have quoted a staggering power figure of 200bhp and 119ftb of torque, all of which is delivered via a 6-speed manual gearbox. This combination is enough to propel the Kawasaki from 0-60mph in just 2.5 seconds and onto to a limited 186mph. With performance of this level rider aids are of equal importance, and this model has traction control, ABS and power mode selection.
As this is the top specification Performance Sport model, it also has the added benefit of a bespoke Ohlins TTX rear shock absorber, Akrapovic lightweight titanium silencers and a wind cheating bubble screen. The current owner has also had heated grips fitted for those longer touring rides.
The Golden Blazed Green and Metallic Black paintwork looks beautiful and is in excellent condition overall, as are all of the panels with no blemishes of note. The black leather seat also shows no sign of wear and is presented very well.
Mechanically this ZZR1400 has been very well maintained. Its last full service was completed in 2022 which included new tyres, battery, front and rear sprockets, chain, engine oil change and remaining fluids.
