This 5th generation Multivan provides all of the benefits that have underpinned the success VW has achieved with the Transporter range; practicality, versatility, and reliability to mention just a few. This example has been enjoyed on many European explorations and covered 206,390 miles (332,153 km) in the process.
Exploring the exterior, the bodywork is in very good condition overall. As to be expected from a vehicle of this age there are some blemishes and small dents on the passenger side rear wheel arch and door, and a scratch on the passenger door. The silver paintwork is otherwise presented incredibly well.
The outside of this VW is completed with 16” silver alloy wheels which are in excellent condition, all four tyres retain a significant amount of tread. It also has a towbar fitted with corresponding electrics.
Moving inside, the grey fabric front seats are in very good condition and offer good support and comfort with little age-related wear. The dash, door cards and carpets follow in matching condition. All the surrounding switchgear controls including aftermarket infotainment system with reversing camera and satellite navigation are in perfect working order.
The rear passenger area can be accessed from sliding doors on both sides. Once inside, there are 2 chairs directly behind the front seats which can be swivelled in all directions. There is a further 3-seater bench seat which is included in the sale but not currently fitted and easily slides onto the clever rail system, providing endless seating configurations.
As well as the bench seat, this Mutlivan also comes with various other extras including a 6.5ft bed/table unit with a full folding mattress and a field kitchen unit, perfect for any road trips.
This VW runs and drives very well. It’s been routinely maintained and most recently had an engine oil and filter change in June, it’s also received a new battery and starter motor in preparation for sale. There are no mechanical or electrical issues reported.
This VW Multivan is incredibly well equipped and set-up to provide comfort and versatility for any European road-trips or camping excursions. Presented in very good condition overall it’s ready to be enjoyed this summer.
