The Fuchs wheel was originally produced for the 1967 Porsche 911S. Whilst many manufacturers were using steel or even wire wheels at the time, Porsche Fuchs wheels were seen as revolutionary for their lightweight alloy construction.
This lot is a set of four original Porsche Fuchs wheels which were removed from a 1989 911.
Painted with traditional black centres and polished alloy outer edges, they would benefit from refurbishment however they are presented very well overall.
The wheels are staggered in size:
Front – 16 x 7-inch
Rear – 16 x 9-inch
These wheels would make a great addition to many classic Porsches.
